Kristi began working at The Bridge in 2005 as a Residential Counselor for the Northwood Crisis Residential program. In January 2008 she took a very special leave of absence - to give birth to triplets. After a period of being a stay-at-home mom, Kristi returned to work as an Outpatient Counselor for the Fort Payne Recovery Center. She then returned to the Gadsden Campus as a Counselor with the Northwood Crisis Residential program. She is now the Program Manager for the Mitchell Program.
Kristi graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After some life-changing experiences in recovery, she returned to JSU to pursue a degree in Social Work. In 2005, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She is certified as a Drug Counselor from the Alabama Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association.
Kristi remains active in the recovery community. She has served as a group leader for several Celebrate Recovery programs in the Gadsden area. Over the past few years Kristi has shared her testimony of how God changed her life at numerous churches, jails and programs throughout the state. Kristi is celebrating being drug free since 2002..
