Jackie began her career with The Bridge in 1989 as a food service worker. In 1990 she was promoted to the position of kitchen supervisor for the Gadsden Campus. As The Bridge continued to grow so did the food service department. In 1993 she was promoted to her current position of Food Service Manager. This position is responsible for the child nutrition program for all of the Bridge locations.

In 2004 Jackie completed the Nutrition Specialist certification from the Career Development Institute of Georgia. During her career as a  nutrition  specialist Jackie developed the criteria for the "Bid Plan" for the Child Nutrition Program that is now used by other agencies thru out the state.
