Case Manager - West Alabama
  • Assist in the intake processing of new clients into the program
  • Provide case management services as directed by the Program Manager
  • Complete appropriate assessment tools and establish a case management file and service plan within Program required time limits
  • Willing to work with families and clients during non-traditional hours
  • Provide services in a variety of settings to include office, school, client homes or other approved community settings
  • Actively participate in the treatment team case review, consultation, and continuing care planning activities
  • Communicate with referral sources and continuing care placement resources for appointment scheduling, transportation arrangements, and other services to maximize the client’s opportunity for treatment success
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with treatment community, juvenile probation departments, and other necessary and authorized agencies
  • Complete required forms, documentation, and other pertinent administrative information for timely submission to supervisor
  • Reconcile service notes with billing records and enter billing data in appropriate billing submission system
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies as necessary 
Driving and Transportation
  • Provide transportation for clients following all procedures and protocols for safety and security
Required Skills


  • High School diploma or GED accredited by the proper regional board; Bachelor degree preferred (from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education)
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of the juvenile criminal justice system organization and purpose
  • Valid Alabama driver’s license, proof of personal vehicle insurance, acceptable driving record and access to personal transportation to meet with clients in a variety of locations
  • High level of integrity, dependability, and honesty
  • Ability to express ideas and directives clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
  • Cultural sensitivity in working with internal and external consumers including clients, staff, volunteers, referral agents, vendors, community organizations, etc.
