Job Responsibilities
Program Monitoring
                                                                                   
  • Responsible for  reporting on clients assigned to caseload with regards to school and/or job attendance
  • Meet with client caseload on a regular basis at home, school, and/or job locations.
  • Conducts drug screens
  • Intervention in instances of client violation of program rules or safety regulations using approved methods
  • Maintains communication with referral sources including probation department.
  • Provide support and inspiration to the client on assigned caseload, promoting positive goal-directed behaviors and values
  • Work as a part of a team in conjunction with the Program Coordinator, staff and community agencies to help clients reenter community
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring to clients through face-to-face meetings
  • Encourages clients to make positive and constructive decisions
  • Curfew Calls
  • Working with and supervision of clients on Community Service Projects 
Instruction and Training                         
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and in-service meetings as required. 
Clerical duties                                                                                         
  • Perform basic clerical activities related to daily operations of program.
  • Document activities and incidents as required by procedures. 
Driving and Transportation
  • Provide transportation for clients in company vehicle following all procedures and protocols for safety and security.
  • Regular and periodic use of personal vehicle for transporting youth to/from activities
  • Have reliable access to personal transportation to meet with client caseload on a regular basis at home, school, and/or job locations
Required Skills

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High school diploma or GED accredited by the proper regional board
  • Ability to model appropriate behaviors
  • High level of integrity, dependability, and honesty
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Cultural sensitivity in working with internal and external consumers including clients, staff, volunteers, referral agents, vendors, community organizations, etc.
Other Job Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Valid Alabama driver’s license and acceptable driving record with proof of personal vehicle insurance
  • Safely operate 8-12 passenger van
Additional Information
Hours:  Monday - Thursday 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.,
Every other Friday & Sunday
& occasionally Saturday a.m.
